Decorticated Chickpeas

Chickpeas have one of the highest nutritional compositions of any dry edible legume. These chickpeas have a specialized skin removal process obtained by passing through abrasive steps, keeping the proteins and nutrients of the chickpea unharmed.
Decorticated chickpeas are ideal for obtaining a smoother flour with no dark discoloration and much finer as the thick skin has been removed.
TradeLink International sources their beans from the northern regions of Argentina, mainly Salta, but also regions such as Tucuman and neighbouring regions.
Each order is tested regardless of whether the batch has already been tested and we look for moisture content to be below 18% as well as pesticides and heavy metals, all of which must comply with the legislation of the country of destination for it to pass our QA controls.
