Description

Argentina exports 97% of their production of beans with a lot of the countries production going to neighbouring Brazil. Estimates state total planted hectares between 380 and 400 thousand hectares of beans, with Black Bean being the most popular with farmers.
Black beans are relatively small and have a shiny black colour with a soft neutral flavor with a slight earthy flavor. They also have one of the best nutritional profiles amongst the beans, with good content of iron (5mg) and calcium (123mg), 0 cholesterol and low in fats (1.5g).
TradeLink International sources their beans from the northern regions of Argentina, mainly Salta, but also regions such as Tucuman and neighbouring regions.
Each order is tested regardless of whether the batch has already been tested and we look for moisture content to be below 18% as well as pesticides and heavy metals, all of which must comply with the legislation of the country of destination for it to pass our QA controls.
